Zibo brings together a unique team that includes some of the best real estate fintech investors in the industry (QED and Khosla) + a founding team that combines one of the world’s leading real estate tech entrepreneurs (Gregor Watson of Roofstock, Dwell and 1Sharpe), an experienced real estate investor and credit expert (Rob Bloemker of Dwell and 1Sharpe) and Chris Hsu -- a proven leader with deep experience in software, data analytics and financial services -- as the CEO.


The role:
We are seeking a Recruiter who can be part based in Redwood City and remote to build the talent acquisition function. Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Zibo's success. We are looking for a Recruiter to help redefine the way we recruit as we launch into the marketplace reporting into the CEO.
This role will drive the recruiting process, uncovering great talent, delivering a superb candidate experience and ultimately closing the right candidates. 
As an early employee of Zibo, you'll need to be at your best in a fast-paced startup environment that is customer-focused, scrappy and creative. 

What you'll do:
  • Drive the full lifecycle of the recruiting process - including partnering with hiring managers and executive Leaders on position definition, search strategy and candidate requirements, developing recruiting strategies and offers and negotiation.
  • Utilize your recruiting skills to research and network with passive candidates, be a creative problem-solver and establish strong partnerships with hiring managers and executives. 
  • Drive an articulate a concise hiring plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.
  • Influence Hiring Managers and Executive leaders in an advisory/consulting capacity in a rapidly scaling environment with a strong understanding of equity components.
  • Identify diverse talent through creative sourcing channels. (e.g. social networking, internet research, LinkedIn, boolean search, regular networking at events, etc.)

What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years talent acquisition full lifecycle experience across technical and corporate roles.
  • Proven track record for assessing talent beyond matching keywords on a resume.
  • Experience participating in networking events, meet-ups, and industry specific interest groups to build industry relationships and talent pipeline.
  • You'll need to be disciplined, detailed, iterative with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You must be a strong collaborator and communicator, as you will directly interact with all levels and teams at Zibo.
