Main duties of the role include;

  • Manage and lead the sales team
  • Liaise with other senior staff to determine the range services to be marketed
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and setting of sales targets
  • Develop a route to market and B2B sales strategy from compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Prepare proposals for marketing campaigns and undertake relevant market research
  • Sell direct and build the assets needed to deliver against the sales targets
  • Identify, open and sell into new opportunities from producing reports and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies for senior management
  • Create a structured sales pipeline and managing customer accounts
  • Manage the direct and non-direct sales execs, providing training when required
  • Work with marketing/growth to give execs all they need to deliver sales strategies and targets
  • Set targets and manage effectiveness of the team against the HoD's requirements
  • Manage sales reports internal

Our ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • Educated to post graduate level in a relevant discipline, such MBA
  • Experience managing and leading a project or sales team to achieve strategic marketing and business goals within the Insurance Sector
  • Experience of liaising with other senior staff to determine the strategic marketing of the business within the Insurance Sector
  • Experience of contributing to the development of sales strategies and setting of sales targets at a senior level within the Insurance Sector
  • Experience of compiling and analysing sales figures to develop marketing strategies / business within the Insurance Sector
  • Experience of preparing proposals for marketing campaigns and undertake relevant market research
  • Experience of direct selling and delivering sales targets within the Insurance Sector
  • Experience of identifying, new opportunities from producing reports and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies for senior management within the Insurance Sector
  • Experience of managing sales pipeline and managing customer accounts within the Insurance Sector
  • Experience of providing training when required
  • Experience of working with marketing/growth execs to deliver sales strategies and targets within the Insurance Sector
  • Experience of setting targets and managing a team against the HoD's requirements within the Insurance Sector
