Sales Operations Analyst

Role and Title: Sales Operations Analyst 

Job Summary: is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst who will leverage their expertise in sales analysis to further the team's efforts to identify and implement improvements to the sales team efficiency, incentives, and management of variable compensation.  The ideal candidate for the role will be self-motivated and detail oriented, able to excel in a start-up environment, and want to develop a strong understanding of EdTech applications. We're a small team looking for someone eager to tackle the challenges faced by a company experiencing hyper-growth, and motivated by the opportunity to drive substantial impact. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Drive the analyses that steer the sales org including variable compensation, quotas, market segmentation, and retention, etc
  • Assist in developing, reporting, and automating key performance metrics, reporting tools, and dashboards to help drive revenue and optimize sales efficiency
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
  • Identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and track progress around sales performance, pipeline management, and sales forecasting
  • Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with business partners (e.g. Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations) to deliver key business insights using meaningful analyses
  • Ad-hoc Sales Operations/SFDC requests (Admin responsibilities, Reporting, Systems, etc.)
  • Maintain regular data cleansing of accounts and opportunities on weekly basis

Experience/Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with major in analytical or technical field strongly preferred
  • 3+ years experience in sales operations or business operations role 
  • Highly skilled in relevant tech stack/sales platforms including:
  • Salesforce Administration
  • API integrations, A/B testing
  • Google Business Suite expertise
  • Proactive, not reactive, mindset
  • Highly organized
  • Problem solving/analytical mindset, organized, and able to manage multiple initiatives at once 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,  including the ability to present strategy and results to team members at every level of the organization

  • Office hours: 9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday
  • Location: San Francisco (SoMA)
  • No relocation offered
