Role and Title: Salesforce Administrator / Business Analyst 

Job Summary: is seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Business Analyst who will leverage their analytical skills and expertise in Salesforce to further the team's efforts in identifying and implementing improvements to the Revenue Team’s efficiency, incentives, and management. The ideal candidate for the role will be self-motivated and detail oriented, able to excel in a startup environment, and want to develop a strong understanding of EdTech applications. We're a small team looking for someone eager to tackle the challenges faced by a company experiencing hyper-growth, and motivated by the opportunity to drive substantial impact.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

Salesforce Administrator:
Build Out:
  • Workflows
  • Work with teams to understand business requirements and translate them into workflows
  • Validation Rules 
  • Prevent sensitive record changes
  • Require specific fields to be populated
  • Cleanliness of data
  • Maintain and administer the SFDC database
  • Ensure proper controls and permissions are in place
  • Reporting within SFDC; Understanding what report types are able to return desired results 
  • Implement and administer SFDC connectors (i.e. Talkdesk, Hubspot); Design and create the underlying data structure and data flows to support apps and integrations
  • Maintain alignment with SFDC best practices; Daily data validation to hold reps accountable
  • Manage security, including roles, profiles, sharing rules and groups
  • Calculate commission within SFDC 
 User Assistance, Training, Adoption and Satisfaction:
  • Create and administer training to existing or new users/groups
  • Expand use of SFDC – attend planning meetings, assist with determining if/how SFDC can be used in new ways as opposed to purchasing a new internal system
  • Assist management to create processes in SFDC to help monitor activities
  • Communicate regularly with user base regarding new features, enhancements

General Business Analytics:
  • Drive analyses that steer the Revenue organization
  • Assist in developing, reporting, and automating key performance metrics, reporting tools, and dashboards to help drive revenue and optimize sales efficiency
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they arise; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
  • Identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and track progress around sales performance, pipeline management, and sales forecasting
  • Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with business partners (e.g. Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations) to deliver key business insights using meaningful analyses

Experience/Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with major in analytical or technical field strongly preferred
  • 3+ years experience as SFDC Administrator
  • 3+ years experience in sales operations or business operations role 
  • Highly skilled in relevant tech stack/sales platforms including:
  • Salesforce Administration
  • API integrations, A/B testing
  • Google Business Suite expertise
  • Highly organized
  • Proactive, not reactive problem solving/analytical mindset, organized, and able to manage multiple initiatives at once 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to team members at every level of the organization
