Yugabyte is looking for a highly motivated, self starter to join our Sales and Marketing team. Ideally we would like candidates to have some exposure to account research, lead development and prospecting, but more importantly we are targeting individuals with high energy, great communication skills and the ambition to work hard.
Your role will be to research industry verticals, geographies and companies to identify potential prospects who could benefit from Yugabyte’s offerings. In this position you are a driving force for the company by helping boost sales and contributing to the long-term business growth.
- Set and execute on a cadence of research and list building to create a pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Prospect and identify key executives at target companies
- Prioritize strategic target account lists within defined territories and industry verticals
- Research and build new and existing accounts
- Achieve monthly quotas of meetings and qualified opportunities

- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Superior time management with strong organizational skills
- LinkedIn, preferably Sales Navigator
- Google Docs and Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
- Previous lead generation or sales experience preferred
