Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a forward thinking highly motivated supply chain manager for our China operations. This role is critical to improving our service levels, capacities and costs. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain processes within our China operations, ensuring the optimal use of resources, accountable for sales, inventory and operations planning, supplier management and business intelligence reporting.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of operational and supply chain activities.
A glimpse of what you will do:
·       Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the resources, operations and budget of our supply chain operations in China
·       Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Operations, market and Customer Service) teams to ensure effective supply chain
·       Inventory control and Identify the need for adjustments to distribution requirement plans
·       Monitor Stock levels and develop KPIs
·       Document step-by-step procedures for the supply planning process
·       Engineer best practices to improve productivity
·       Train the appropriate teams for the implementation of best practices
·       Establish effective feedback loops between each process owner (suppliers, packers, shippers….) in the supply chain
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of operations, procurement and program management
  • Assertive in driving key operational objectives with internal and external groups
  • Experience in high volume consumer products
  • Process driven and analytical
  • Able to work with minimal oversight, and the ability to present yourself as an authority with suppliers
  • Professional qualification in supply chain is an advantage
  • Strong working knowledge using Excel (pivot tables, report generation, data-mining)
  • Ability to manage direct reports
  • Must be able to develop written instructions and provide verbal instructions on processes
  • Strong process improvement and project management skills
  • Strong verbal/non-verbal communication and presentation skills (English)
  • Timely and accurate with data and reporting
  • Be able to work independently as well as be a strong participant on team projects
