Xwing is seeking a highly motivated candidate to spearhead the development of a software framework to streamline systems engineering for certifiable autonomous systems. The individual will work closely with NASA on the project and interface with product development groups and third parties to meet requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Work with Python web frameworks to improve upon an existing HTTP server and backend.
- Update frontend UI using HTML, Javascript and CSS.
- Define, develop and automate test cases.
- Work with the product leadership and third parties to define requirements and establish feasibility.
- Continuously improve development tools and methods.
Required qualifications:
- University degree in computer science / engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Hands-on experience developing highly reliable software.
- High proficiency in at least one widely-used programming language. Fluent in Python.
- Accustomed to writing high-quality code, in an efficient and well-documented manner.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other engineering teams per company priorities.
- Ability to challenge conventional thinking in a fact-based and professional manner.
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience building User Interface mocks.
- Experience with JQuery.
- Experience working with product owners and designers.
- Proficient with git and GitHub.
- Experience with compilers and parsers
