 Surge is an all-remote company with team members in multiple countries. We are able to hire in over 30+ countries, however prioritize candidates based off the role they’re filling and time zone they’ll be working in. Having an all-remote company allows our team members to execute work autonomously, having the freedom of work/life balance and getting things done when they’re most effective. On the other hand, being remote also requires team members to be of a certain breed. In particular, we generally do not hire candidates with less than 3 years experience.

Position Summary: 
The Salesforce Consultant is a multi-faceted role consisting of Business Analysis and Salesforce solutioning for Surge engagements. The Salesforce Consultant is responsible for driving successful salesforce platform implementations by working closely with client representatives and business owners. The Salesforce Consultant has a set of intangible skills and is passionate about doing whatever it takes to make things work! 
 
Responsibilities: 
The ideal candidate will have a unique background consisting of Business Analysis and Salesforce Administration and will have excellent communication and client facing skills. 
 
o   4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Admin 
o   Salesforce Certification preferred 
o   Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity 
o   Drive client discussions in order to organize and document business and technical requirements. 
o   Create mock-ups and wireframes to prototype solutions. 
o   Define and optimize business processes. 
o   Execute QA tasks for completed user stories, work with software engineers to refine/clarify requirements. 
o   Setup and configure the salesforce platform features. 
o   Perform basic development tasks with salesforce when needed. 
o   Constantly research, study and analyze salesforce products and offerings to ensure continuous alignment to the salesforce ecosystem. 
o   Connect project vision with executable plans and tasks. 
o   Develop genuine relationships with client representatives. 
o   Gain an understanding of company objectives and assist in positioning opportunities.
