Host Recruiter Profile
  • Previous experience in recruitment and interviewing (preferably in non-corporate environment or markets)
  • Preferably experience in tourism and project management
  • Great communication and social awareness skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and for multiple stakeholders at the same time
  • Representation skills and endless enthusiasm
  • Autonomy and self-driven behaviour
  • Analysis and fast decision making skills

Responsibilities
  • Recruit the kickstart pool of Withlocals hosts (local guides) in the new cities and expanding current host base in existing cities, while meeting the targets expected
  • Targeted host recruitment of profiles in accordance to guidelines: specific themes of tours, backgrounds of hosts, languages spoken and skill-sets
  • Curating and selecting only the best and most suitable locals to become Withlocals hosts based on quality standards and pre-defined requirements
  • Building and maintaining databases with contacts and delivering information in an organized way to expansion manager or destination manager
  • Work closely with marketing to set-up recruitment campaigns using specific programs that generate leads
  • Collect insights about local regulations or city specific topics and feed them to the expansions manager 
  • Clear communication and alignment with destination managers in order to recruit their candidates needed
  • Carefully plan and track multiple recruitments at the same time
  • Continually looking for optimizing the recruitment process and reducing the host acquisition costs
