Account Director

William Thomas Digital is building Canada’s leading Digital Messaging and CRM consultancy. We help organizations and agency partners of all sizes to communicate relevant and personalized messaging to their customers through Email, Mobile Push, SMS, Social, Web, Marketing Automation and Chat.

We are currently seeking an Account Director to lead the strategy, innovation and growth of a portfolio of key clients. The Account Director is passionate about all things digital CRM, and is a proven Subject Matter Expert who is responsible for strategically guiding clients and programs. The Account Director will nurture client relationships while focusing on new revenue growth from a key client portfolio.

The Account Director will liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams as well as William Thomas Digital partnership teams; ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs; and improve the entire customer experience. The ideal candidate is able to identify customer needs, engage and manage the correct resources, maintain proactive communications and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as the strategic lead and point of contact for assigned clients
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, client stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Prepare presentations and materials which articulate William Thomas Digital client solutions and strategies
  • Distill enterprise scale client challenges into actionable strategies and solutions.
  • Act as strategic digital messaging subject matter expert for some of North America’s most innovative companies
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed growth goals
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly in both oral and written communication
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executives and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions demonstrating benefit and value based on customer needs
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Responsys, or other leading Marketing Technology platforms.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Previous agency experience a must
  • Previous Email Marketing, Digital Messaging, CRM experience a must
