Growth Marketing Manager - Stealth

Wilbur Labs is a startup studio building a portfolio of companies at the intersection of marketing and technology. We are founded by a team of ex-Googlers who are reinventing the way companies are built by leveraging data and automation across the entire business life cycle. This approach, which eliminates inefficiencies and opens the door to scaling much faster than traditional companies, has been successful in other verticals such as travel (VacationRenter) and is using these learnings to launch new companies.

About This Role
We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help us scale a new company in the Employment vertical. After launching within Wilbur Labs, this company is growing rapidly and is quickly emerging as a major player in the jobs and careers space. 

As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will work closely with our Head of Growth as we scale acquisition channels, launch new markets, and build a best in class marketing program. This is the perfect role for an experienced growth marketer who enjoys being in the weeds but also wants to broaden their scope and help build a world-class growth team from the ground up.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute a performance-driven marketing strategy
  • Create, track, analyze, and optimize paid search campaigns in Google Ads, Bing Ads and Facebook Ads
  • Proactively look for creative and efficient ways to grow existing marketing customer acquisition channels 
  • Leverage data to find insights and use them to drive performance and growth
  • Test, launch and manage new marketing channels
  • Work closely with the engineering team to build custom advertising tech to improve and scale campaigns
  • Manage creative development of best-in-class ad creative
  • Manage and drive social media and PR efforts 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of acquisition marketing experience (Google, Bing, Facebook)
  • Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven marketing
  • Self-starter who will thrive in an ambiguous startup environment
  • Strong attention to detail and highly adaptable 
  • Strong proficiency with Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) 
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area

Preferred Qualifications & Prior Experience: 
  • Prior experience working at an early stage startup and/or company in the Employment vertical
  • Demonstrated experience creating and optimizing successful marketing campaigns 
  • Complex advertising account management experience
