In this role:
You will aim to ensure our clients get the best food, service and dining experience possible at Hunter Gather.
Specific Tasks Include:
Daily Tasks- Participate and manage the correct appearance of each service, including set-up and tidy up at the beginning and end of each service.
- Set-up of service area for next service.
- Refilling items like plates, cutlery, glassware and food products as guests use them.
- Clearing tables and re-setting them during shift.
- Maintain cleanliness standards for all areas of service.
- Perform regular daily tasks to ensure smooth operations of restaurant service, such as delivery of food and beverage for table service.
- Keep restaurant service area clean and organised at all times.
- Keep coffee area clean and organised at all times.
- Assist with transport, production and display of product as necessary
Service
- Greet and serve all guests in a timely, friendly manner.
- Prepare and deliver all food and beverage items in a timely manner.
- Follow the Service it Right service steps when needed.
- Work as bartender when required.
- Work on simple cash register when required.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Answer guests' questions and provide information to the best of your abilities. When in doubt, consult the service supervisor.
- Resolve guest complaints. When this is not possible, refer to the service supervisor.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the menu items.
You will need to:
Have a thorough knowledge of the menu items.
Be able to carry tray of glassware with up to 8 wine glasses.
Be able to clear and carry up to four 12” dinner plates and cutlery.
Have your Serve It Right Certificate.
