Responsibilities

  • Manage data pipelines and own accuracy of various internal and external data systems
  • Work with Analytics, Marketing, Sales and Product Management groups to develop data solutions that meet business objectives
  • Develop data warehouse schemas and proliferate data across the company

Skills

  • Strong foundation of data structures, databases, and data warehousing technologies like Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery
  • Experience in working with schema design, large data structures and data adapters
  • Proficiency in ETL development and writing complex SQL queries 
  • Strong experience in working with RESTful APIs & SaaS platforms
  • Solid knowledge of at least one programming language, Java or Python preferred
  • Proficiency in Unix systems, Shell scripting, job scheduling
  • Passion for writing and aggregating high quality code
  • Professional experience in adapting and transferring data from 3rd parties
  • Strong understanding of product workflows from a data driven perspective
  • Ability to deliver exceptional results even under tight deadlines
  • Ability to navigate within a large existing codebase and to identify and fix bugs
  • Open-minded, flexible, and have a pragmatic approach to solving problems
  • Passion to explore and use the latest development tools and platforms
  • Bachelor's Degree in CS or equivalent work experience
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Bonus skills

  • Experience with some of the following platforms: Salesforce, Hubspot, Indicative, Mixpanel, Ambassador, PayPal, Stripe, Baremetrics, Talend
  • Ability to write event tracking code in multiple languages and platforms
