We're looking for a User Interface Visual Designer capable of communicating ideas through compelling layouts, illustrations, and compositions. You will collaborate cross-functionally in the development of web and mobile applications.
Your work will impact several areas of user interface design, and you will produce deliverables such as wireframes, color palettes, typography, style guides/specs, explorations, high-fidelity composite designs and mockups, and final artwork assets.
You consistently design for the end user, strive for simplicity in your solutions, collaborate well, communicate effectively, and enjoy designing iteratively within an agile workflow and under tight deadlines.
You will collaborate closely with other designers and stakeholders to expand the brand visual system by producing custom icons, textures and backgrounds, and other design elements that can be deployed to support the design system.
You have an eye for details.
Required skills & experience
Your visual design portfolio predominantly showcases your creative skills as applied to software applications, desktop or mobile. Portfolio must be available online (or as a download). It should also demonstrate a solid understanding of user interface design principles and best practices.
You possess 2-5 years’ work experience in visual design for applications (web applications, mobile applications, desktop applications, games).
You are proficient with Sketch, Adobe After Effects or Photoshop, Illustrator, and are versed or comfortable with a varied toolset which might include Balsamiq, Principle Mirror, Flinto, moqups, Lucidcharts, Axure, and others.
You are proficient with modern web development design patterns and techniques, including responsive design and animations that support the user experience.
You have strong organization and prioritization skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task across projects.
You have a strong sense of user experience / interaction design principles.
You are able to deliver exceptional results even under tight deadlines.
You are open-minded, flexible, and have a pragmatic approach to solving problems.
You are fluent in English (written and spoken), and can promote designs with ease and comfort to communicate concepts clearly.
You have a growth-mindset.
