Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Fremont, CA
·  Process accounts payable/receivable as needed
·  Participate in the month-end close and reconcile the following accounts: Cash, Allowance for Doubtful Accounts, Earnings, Billings, Prepaids, Investments, Accrued Expenses, Other Debt, Equity
·  Prepare monthly variance analysis for financials
·  Prepare financials for internal and external distribution
·  Process client invoices/billings, expense reports and mileage reports
·  Organize accounting procedures and internal controls
·  Calculate and pay sales tax and other taxes as needed
·  Compile financial statements with supervisor as needed
·  Provide reports/info to managers as needed
·  Assist in budgeting and cost management
·  Preparation of 1099 and other tax related documents
·  Perform other duties as assigned
·  Experienced in Quickbook
·  BS or MS in accounting and/or finance 
·  Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent follow-up skills
·  Must take personal responsibility for data integrity of the accounting systems
·  Excellent verbal, written communication and management skills
·  Adept at MS Office products, Word, Outlook, Excel
·  Proven analytical and problem solving skills
·  Discrete handling of confidential information
·  Open minded and quick learner
·  Ability to work at least 15-20 hours a week
