Logistics Specialist Intern

The Position: 
The Logistic Specialist Intern position is a 3 months long internship and it's possible to transfer to a Full Time position based on performance. This position plays an important role with this rapid growing company. This is a very dynamic and fast-track position reporting to the Operations Manager of the company. The candidate is responsible for client-face, contract execution, sales support, and project and logistics management. The idea candidate requires a superior communication and coordination skills, an ability to work across functional both internally and externally, and with strong analytical and project management background and experiences. This position will also require working closely with both Headquarter and US operations teams. This position will also serve as the project manager role for larger and key client account(s). 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
·         Manage all domestic logistic needs, coordinating with HQ marine cargo shipments and be the liaison person between 3rd party warehouses, client and the Company 
·         Provide contract management to key client(s) with strong executions performance 
·         Monitor shipping schedules closely to ensure all of milestones are managed according to contract 
·         Be a strong customer inter-face person and star of sales support 
·         Manage 3rd party warehouse and shipping company’s contract bids, and conduct a best practice on 3rd party vendor management 
·         Track large project’s progresses, delivery status, and execution results 
·         Develop proposals for 3rd party vendors 
·         Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements 
·         Verify shipments against purchase orders and examine upon arrival 
·         Develop and implement shipping and receiving procedures 
·         Work with headquarter and sales team to support forecast and planning process 

  Minimum Requirements: 
·         Preferred 1+ years of PV industry experience with a focus in Warehouse and Logistic management 
·         Preferred 1+ years of experiences in warehouse and logistic role with strong project coordination experiences 
·         Strong project management and large client sales support experiences is required 
·         Contractor management and supply planning experiences is desired, but not required 
·         Excellent analytical and communication ability to work cross-functionally and at all levels both internally and externally 
·         Superior communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent in taking initiatives for solutions 
·         Proven track-record in project management, customer inter-face and sales supports 
·         Excellent work ethic with positive, team-player attitude 
·         Education or Desired License and Certificates: 
·         Minimum 4-year college degree; a major in business administration and supply chain with a focus in project management or transportation is preferred 
·         Master’s degree is welcomed, but not required 
·         Project Management Certification is a plus, but not required 
·         Solar industry experiences are desired 
·         Bi-lingual in Chinese and English is preferred

Limited travel with a quarterly and year-end warehouse inventory checks might be required
