Summary/ Objective
Perform aircraft maintenance and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to insure safety in a timely manner. Maintain company fleet in airworthy conditions following manufacture specifications and FAA regulations. Comply with Part 145 repair station guidelines and regulations. Work with A&P and IA team to maximize fleet readiness and safety.
Qualifications:
- Current FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Power plant ratings. (Required)
- 1 year experience with piston powered planes (Preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Must own or acquire tools.
- Familiar with Cessna and Piper line of aircraft.
- Must be punctual and work well in team environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible and accountable for all work performed. All work inspected by IA.
- Comply with proper completion of all Part 145 Forms on all work assigned and performed.
- Comply with proper handling of all parts, units, and aircraft while in the repair process.
- Ensure the accurate, correctness and completion of all associated and required documentation for all maintenance work performed, or inspections conducted.
- Perform all inspections, for example 50 hour, 100 hour, all required AD’s and assist on annuals.
- Maintain all tooling, work area, work benches and inventory safe, clean and accurate.
- Evaluate and trouble shoot aircraft squawks and reports from company dispatch and pilots.
- Follow maintenance department and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Lead, Maintenance Managers, or the Director of Maintenance.
