Work as a Cloud Networking / Security Engineer within a small team focused on migrating applications to the cloud. Responsible for deploying an AWS-recommended foundation of interrelated AWS accounts, networks, and core services. The customer is moving applications from their data center to AWS and we are looking for a Cloud Networking / Security Engineer to provide landing zone implementation for multiple mission-critical applications.  
 
The Cloud Networking / Security Engineer will lead and implement the cloud computing strategy. An ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud services on AWS government (GovCloud) and public clouds.
 
•    Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to understand mission needs 
•    3+ years’ experience as a cloud architect or lead cloud engineer implementing and overseeing cloud computing strategy and cloud solutions delivery
•    5+ years’ hands-on experience with cloud computing and traditional enterprise data-center technologies, i.e., network, compute, storage, and virtualization
•    2+ years’ experience overseeing legacy application migration to cloud environments
•   Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud and public cloud architecture and core services
•   Hands-on experience Designing and implementing cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation
 • Implementing and configuring Palo Alto and F5 on AWS
 • Performing routing, switching and firewall configurations
 • Implementing IDS/IPS/WAF 
 • Performing routing, switching and firewall configurations
 • Experience with SCCA implementation is a plus.
