Project Manager

Vivo Growth Partners is conducting a search for an experienced Project Managers to support the project side of a fast-growing technology firm located in the Polaris area. A recent winner of the Columbus Business First Fast 50 list, the organization provides software as a service (SaaS) that helps to integrate information between retailers, wholesalers and other sales channels.

This role supports company operations by maintaining the project start to finish. You will lead technical projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, analysis, design development and implementation. A Project is defined as a unique endeavor with a defined result that requires project management skills to deliver successfully. Establishes project requirements, priorities, and deadlines. Client facing to ensure that the project is being properly maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Manager

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress using our standard methodology
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
KEY EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred – computer science or engineering
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, ideally in e-commerce or retail
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Prefer experience working with Clarizen

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated extremely strong verbal and written communication capabilities with any and all stakeholders
  • Ability to understand enough on the Dev side to speak to it but not necessarily be a Developer
  • Proficient in SQL (reading and Writing)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
  • Ability to quickly learn other systems or software as needed
  • Being “tech-savvy” is necessary for success
