Data Partnerships Associate

Job description
Looking to make a big impact at a rapidly growing startup that is revolutionizing a multi-billion dollar industry? We are expanding our New York City presence with individuals focusing on growing and managing data partnerships. You will be responsible for initiating relationships with potential partners, assessing business opportunities, working with technology teams to support integration, and facilitating communications with internal and external stakeholders to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day to day communications with key data partners to drive revenue growth
  • Evaluate new data partners based on strategic needs of Vistar’s clients 
  • Help onboard new data partners by working with Vistar’s technology teams
  • Understand Vistar’s value proposition and provide input on enhancements needed to service partner integrations
  • Grow partnership by educating internal teams on data partners’ key offerings and develop supporting materials with marketing 
  • Own monthly data revenue reports and work with finance to assess the impact of data partnerships to global revenue
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to analyze demand of various data solutions and identify partnership opportunities

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years in adtech
  • Knowledge of the digital advertising industry, preferably in mobile media, location-based media and/or out-of-home media
  • Display an understanding of the data marketplace and be able to articulate the strengths and weaknesses of different data sources
  • Excellent analysis and communication skills 
  • Proven track record of building relationships that drove revenue and organizational success
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, to develop go-to-market solutions using various data sources
  • Ability to grasp new concepts, both business and technical
  • Strong proficiency in Excel

  • Relevant experience working with a DSP, DOOH Media Owner, DMP, Digital Agency or Publisher 
  • Startup experience
  • 1+ years developing strategic partnerships within the technology field
  • Passion for learning more about data, partnerships and developing best in class data offerings
  • Enjoys growing partnerships and potentially signing new ones
  • Enjoys working within a complex ecosystem and handles ambiguity well
