Viome is an innovative biotech startup that applies AI and machine learning to biological data – e.g., microbiome, transcriptome and metabolome data – to provide direct-to-consumer personalized dietary and lifestyle recommendations for healthier living. We are seeking a marketing dynamo to take ownership of Viome’s marketing strategy and create innovative campaigns to match our groundbreaking products. The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for managing all new marketing opportunities, including identifying, on-boarding, and executing new partnership strategies. They will work closely with Viome’s marketing and sales teams and account managers to effectively manage current campaigns, maintain content consistency across platforms and scale accordingly.
This is a full-time position at our offices in Bellevue, WA reporting to Viome’s CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and execution of the marketing program
- Identify new partners/channels, negotiating new partner contracts, coordinating onboarding/tracking for new partners/channels, execution & reporting
- Create and manage the strategic direction for all marketing campaigns, identify trends, and optimize spend and performance based on insights and metrics
- Analyze the performance of all marketing campaigns and drive improvements based on data
- Partner with Product Marketing and Sales teams to establish marketing priorities and identify opportunities that assist in Viome’s branding and sales goals
- Track pipeline sourced from marketing channels from creation to revenue and analyze information to improve budget allocations and decision making
- Create, forecast and manage key metric reports and dashboards for traffic and acquisition, conversion, spend and revenue forecasts
- Oversee continuous A/B test planning, execution, & analysis across new channels to maximize overall results and scale
- Proactive communication of upcoming marketing initiatives to generate awareness of programs
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of quantifiable success in managing direct to consumer marketing projects from end-to-end, ideally for an innovative startup in the healthcare/wellness space
- Strong sense of ownership and internal motivation
- Experience managing a team
- Proven track record of implementing, scaling, & reporting the success of new channels, partners, and campaigns
- Understanding of A/B testing and audience segmentation
- Experience managing affiliate marketing programs is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong data analytic skills
- Organized, quick-moving, and able to pivot effectively in a highly fluid environment
