About the Role
Courant is seeking a talented and proactive Sales Manager for its Custom Partnerships and Hospitality channel. Courant’s products thrive across customization partnerships, promotional gifting, corporate incentivizes and the hotel/hospitality channel. The right candidate possesses strong organizational skills, comfort in brand presentations, an outgoing and engaging personality, keen attention to detail, a passion for idea sharing, accountability, and the ability to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment. This role contributes to the success of Courant’s overall Sales team by prospecting new custom partners and researching opportunities for brand expansion and diversification.
The role is based in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily inbound inquiries and outbound sales efforts to grow Courant’s custom business channel
- Partner with an extensive list of clients to facilitate their gifting and promotional needs via idea generation, product research and design, presentation creation, order processing, paperwork execution, and logistics management
- Track daily activity in CRM for successful account and communication maintenance
- Process orders and deliver account paperwork in a clean, organized, and efficient manner
- Report customer needs and issues, product feedback, and trends to management to support Courant in best serving its partners
- Review opportunities and project workload with Sales Director weekly to ensure effective progress toward monthly, quarterly and yearly department goals
- Collaborate with internal design, operations, and logistics team to satisfy the needs of our partners
- Attend select trade shows representing the Courant brand and product
- Attend and participate in sales, marketing, and creative meetings as needed
About You
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 - 5 years experience in sales. Previous account ownership and knowledge of CRM systems is a bonus
- Strong organizational skills, flexible attitude, attention to detail, aptitude for working with many people, and ability to deal with a rapidly shifting workload
- Proactive, professional, positive attitude, and the diplomatic ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience with Photoshop and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Passionate about technology / consumer electronics, with a strong eye for design and fashion
