VerticalScope owns and operates hundreds of online communities, where users can discuss their passions and share with others on the subjects they love. We focus on building a fast, amazing community experience for our end users and our customers.

As an employee you will receive a competitive salary and a full range of benefits, take advantage of a learning programs and contribute to an international team whose key is innovation.
Platform Engineers support and develop our cloud-based service infrastructure. You will be part of the Estonian team of 2 engineers and work together with 4-5 engineers across the organization. You will work also with various engineering teams in the company, helping to develop and support all of the infrastructure running our various platforms.
Although direct experience with all the tools listed below is not a requirement, we expect you to understand and be enthusiastic about the technologies that those tools rely on. Learning and self-teaching on the job could be a bit of a challenge at first because many of your colleagues would be located in Canada and therefore support from the current team should be considered as limited.
Independence in studying and finding proper solutions is required, although the local team of experienced developers and dev ops will do their best to assist and smooth the process.
Considering the remoteness of many colleagues, it may be sometimes necessary to shift your working hours from local to a later time, especially in the beginning.
