The Sales Representative for RateMDs has responsibility for driving net-new sales of RateMDs Promoted Plans to health care professionals.  Through their interactions with health care providers, they also conduct customer research to inform the Product Management team of market desire for specific new features, and the Customer Support team of any clients requiring specific assistance to ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
 
 
Responsibilities:
·         Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients with a view towards revenue and territory growth that meets or exceeds company targets
·         Upselling current non-paying customers to the Promoted Plans through email and telephone
·         Respond to inbound customer leads regarding advertising on RateMDs 
·         Interact with Developers and Designers in communicating requests from customers
·         Act as both a Social Media consultant and subject matter expert on RateMDs and its Promoted Plans
·         Represent the company at industry events and tradeshows in order to generate new revenue opportunities
·         Actively prospect for new business opportunities and ways to increase revenue 
·         Develop and maintain Revenue Forecasting tools as outlined by company policies and timelines
·         Escalate any issues to the appropriate party within the RateMDs or VerticalScope team
 
Qualifications:
·         General understanding of Marketing, Advertising and emerging Social Media trends 
·         University or College-level education 
·         Proficient in MS Office, SalesForce (or other CRM) software 
·         Exceptional communication skills 
·         Team player with experience at collaborating with cross-functional teams 
·         Cost negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to close business 
·         Exceptionally well-organized
·         Honesty, integrity, and the ability to accomplish one’s goals by collaborating across the company
·         Intellectually curious and self-motivated, and self-sufficient
·         Eager to roll up sleeves, dive into the opportunity and achieve greatness
·         Willingness to travel and attend industry events/meetings across North America
