JOB DESCRIPTION

Vennli is looking for a talented and experienced Account Manager to own the client experience and drive successful outcomes for our clients. We are looking for an Account Manager who will oversee the end-to-end Client Experience for newly signed and existing clients in conjunction with our professional services team. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth through effective customer adoption and execution, cross-selling, and providing consistent communication to our clients in both B2B and B2C organizations. Ideal candidates for this role are confident, ambitious self-starters seeking to showcase their experience, intelligence and curiosity.

KEY OUTCOMES

  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets for a book of installed base business (IBS)
  • Provide timely revenue forecasts and account strategies for installed base business to Director of Account Management
  • Provide solutions consulting to the Sales Team to ensure that contracts are renewable, manageable, and beneficial to both clients and the business
  • Create and manage Statements of Work for installed base business
  • Manage resource allocation for the account team assigning appropriate personnel to client engagements
  • Manage research timelines for individual SOWs to ensure the account team is on track to deliver on the agreed upon timeline.
  • Understand customer requirements & ensure product/service activation and adoption
  • Assess & mitigate risk for contract renewals by developing retention plans and intervention strategies for individual clients
  • Maintain weekly or bi-weekly voice and email contact with clients, serving as advocate and point of contact for issues that impact success
  • Drive account-based lead generation for account growth & cross-selling
  • Generate success stories from client engagements to the marketing team based on content provided from the account team to support Vennli Marketing & Sales
  • Report regularly on customer satisfaction & client advocacy
  • Provide day to day management as well as leadership & mentorship to Research Managers, Analysts, and Interns
  • Keep thorough engagement notes in Vennli’s CRM system
  • Support the Vennli mission & vision through growth & change

 

CAPABILITIES

  • BA/BS degree required, MS or MBA strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in Account Management, preferably in technology or market research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop successful, long-term relationships at all levels of the organization, especially C-level communication
  • Dedication to ethics, integrity, and relationship effectiveness
  • Experience leading contract negotiations and processing
  • Experience developing financial impact and value-based solutions
  • Demonstrate an ability to handle objections in a positive successful manner
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed on Vennli’s product & services suite
  • Ability to champion Vennli to clients across the experience spectrum
  • Strong organizational & time management skills
  • Project management experience, including aligning stakeholders and managing risk
  • Professional phone facilitation skills & executive presence, with excellence in listening and engaging a room
  • Self-motivated and highly disciplined
  • Strong customer service attitude
  • Knowledge of the Marketer, their experiences, challenges, & business impact
  • Experience with use of customer relationship management (CRM) databases such as Salesforce.com and Hubspot
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams
