We are seeking an experienced & sales-savvy Enterprise Business Development Rep to join the Vendasta team! An Enterprise BDR will manage a pipeline of leads to acquire Large Cloud Broker partners and grow divisional revenue through the primary lines of business: platform subscription, marketplace, marketing services, owned-and-operated products, professional services, and one-time. Reporting the the Director of Enterprise Sales, the Enterprise BDR will work cross-functionally to ensure successful partnership from integrations through to platform adoption.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, prospect, contact, and sell Vendasta lines of business to new Large Cloud Broker partners
- Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads in order to achieve new business revenue and acquisition targets for budget
- Prepare and deliver professional, formal, and engaging presentations to Tier 2 and Tier 3 Large Cloud Broker prospects using Vendasta ever-evolving scripts and decks
- Negotiate and close all phases of prospect engagement, including review and preparation of channel partner agreements (or contracts)
- Ensure a smooth start and transition of New Large Cloud Broker partners to Partner Integrations Specialist team
- Maintain and develop relationships with institutional leaders, including “C and/or Senior VP Level” contacts for Finance, ISV, ICT, Media, Agency, Multi-location and Insurance segments
- Work closely with Marketing, Partner Integration, Research and Development, Finance, Director of Sales, and other management team members through-out the sales cycle; oversee the sales process from start to finish, bringing in the appropriate resources at the appropriate time
- Assist in controlling expenses in accordance with agreed upon budget
- Maintain and demonstrate expert knowledge of industry products, applications, sales methods, and program planning
- Identify market opportunities and execute strategic sales calls and marketing achieve new business targets
- Maintain Vendasta CRM with accurate and up-to-date information on leads, prospects, and partners
Position Requirements
- 5+ years in business development, sales, customer service, and/or working with executive-level decision makers; experience in technology sales considered an asset
- Familiarity with Cloud software & technical concepts with willingness to learn new technology quickly
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed predetermined sales goals
- Highly developed knowledge of and ability to apply consultative sales methodology
- Highly developed written & oral communication skills, including ability to write formal business proposals and project plans, deliver public presentations, facilitate meetings
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and effectively manage complaints to formal resolution
