Job Description
UserTesting is looking for an experienced Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to join our Demand Gen team in San Francisco. This role is critical in reaching the goals set for the demand gen team that are directly aligned to the sales meetings and revenue targets.

Ideal candidates will have significant skill in, and proven experience with, digital marketing, lead generation and nurturing, persona development, inbound marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, online advertising, sales enablement, and key systems that include Marketo & Salesforce.

This marketer will analyze engagement data and continue to refine and adjust online marketing/demand generation approaches to maximize return and help the company land sales meetings that grow the pipeline. Your role will work within a larger, dynamic marketing organization filled with domain experts in-order to promote go-to-market strategies, and continually leveraging various channels & tactics that generate interest in and offer education around the value of gathering customer feedback for those in UX, CX, Product, and Marketing. Knowledge of, and experience with targeting, these buyer types in previous roles is a plus. 

This position will require a self-starter who can demonstrate a passion for digital marketing best practices, delivering with quality, and measuring results.  A successful candidate will have an eye for taking the complex and making it simple and should be detail-oriented, agile, committed to team collaboration, and able to run marketing programs from soup-to-nuts. 

What you’ll do:
  • Plan and execute end-to-end demand generation and inbound marketing programs, which include, but are not limited to: SEO, paid media, nurture programs, webinars, micro-events, account-based marketing, etc.
  • Create and activate multi-channel campaigns to drive MQLs and sales pipeline, while closely monitoring conversion rates and optimizing campaigns at each stage.
  • Partner with product marketing, corporate marketing, researchers, and a wide variety of internal & external thought-leaders to develop persona and industry based marketing content designed to drive interest and attract new buyers throughout the pre-sales process
  • Develop digital testing strategies (i.e. conversion optimization) and build the new landing pages, assets, and ads required to execute 
  • Build programs in Marketo and implement tracking & reporting processes that help generate learnings and improve programs on an ongoing basis.
  • Experience leveraging people, process, and technology to drive intelligent automation of customer interactions
  • Comfortable partnering closely with Sales leaders and reps. Ensure quality lead distribution and consistent follow-up. Build an ongoing feedback loop using reports and regular conversations to ensure clarity across teams and no leads gets left behind.
  • Extract data-driven insights about marketing programs & initiatives and provide ideas to optimize a wide range of marketing programs;  compile weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics for ongoing learning and internal communications and presentations. 

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher plus 4-5 years of experience either in a similar in-house marketing role or at an agency that has resulted in working knowledge of best practices for running digital, search engine, and content marketing programs that outperform
  • Well-rounded marketer, with the ability to build and execute digital marketing campaigns and broad-based programs that include digital marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), webinars, direct mail, and sales outreach
  • Experience running digital testing strategies and working knowledge of conversation optimization principles that will drive lead generation volumes up, and costs per conversion down. 
  • Marketo experience, including the independent ability to solely build various programs, create new landing pages for conversion testing, triggers & alerts, dynamic content, lead scoring, operational programs, data hygiene, etc. 
  • Responsible, hard working, and dedicated, with the ability to manage multiple marketing programs & projects and deliver results
  • Friendly, flexible, and willingness to both collaborate heavily as well as work independently 
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with any of the following a plus: Running digital marketing/advertising platforms, building Salesforce reports, working knowledge or experience in ABM, or managing external agencies and contractors
