Summary
The Manager, Total Rewards & HRIS is a newly created role to support our growing business. The successful hire is an experienced, hands-on manager looking to make an immediate impact on the business. Based in our San Francisco Headquarters and reporting to the Head of People Operations (HR), you are responsible for managing our compensation programs and health and welfare benefit plans. You will partner with senior leadership to ensure they are aligned with our strategic plan and competitive enough to attract, retain and motivate our employees. In addition, you will be responsible for our various People systems as well as the data quality and reporting.

What you’ll be doing

  • Conduct global market benchmarking, complete survey submissions, and stay on top of market trends. 
  • Consulting with People Business Partners, Recruiters, and Managers in all things compensation and resolve compensation issues using a data-driven approach as needed.
  • Conduct job evaluation and review of new and/or existing roles.
  • Key player in executing our compensation programs (merit, promotion, equity, bonus) and align practices with strategic business goals. 
  • Work cross-functionally to design and implement creative solutions to various compensation related issues.
  • Develop and document compensation program trainings, guidelines, policies and communication materials.
  • Partner with Head of People Operations to ensure plans are competitive, cost effective, drive a high-performance culture and aligned with the current and future strategic direction of UserTesting.
  • Maintain our benefit programs with our brokers. Evaluate alternatives annually and work with Senior Leadership & Finance to review and receive approval for the next plan year. 
  • Be responsible for the planning and execution of a successful Open Enrollment process.
  • Responsible for HRIS systems, their data integrity and seamless integrations with people processes.
  • Provide support in the preparation of management reports, dashboards, data audits or analysis of trends.
  • People management of the People Analyst & People Services Specialist.
  • Stay apprised of best practices, global trends, relevant laws and regulations for compliance purposes.

What you should have
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Human Resources or other related field. CCP certification a plus
  • 5-7 years of global compensation & benefits experience. Technology industry preferred. 
  • 3+ years people management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering, influencing, and advising key stakeholders. 
  • Excellent teamwork skills and advanced proficiency in excel.
  • Experience developing and rolling out scalable processes.
  • Exceptional quantitative and data analysis skills.
  • Proven effectiveness working in dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent detail-orientation, with a high level of accuracy and the ability to detect inconsistencies in data.
  • Strong planning, organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience implementing HRIS systems with compensation and benefits modules. 
  • Experience building dashboards and automating reports is a plus.
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information, issues and events.
