Sales and Marketing Operations Internship - Fall 2019

Job Description
Urjanet is seeking a Sales and Marketing Operations Intern for Fall 2019 to support our Marketing and Sales operation team in maintaining our CRM and help drive revenue through creating greater efficiency. This is a hands on role which requires an analytical thinker, strong business acumen, and attention to detail. You're systematic and process-driven in your hunt. Even better, you have training and experience with lead research and sourcing techniques. The role is based in Atlanta, GA and will report to the Lead Research Specialist.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Gain hands on experience working in Salesforce on data completeness and accuracy
  • Uncover missing opportunities within Salesforce
  • Work with business stakeholders to correct missing, incomplete or inaccurate data
  • Identify duplicates and correct/merge as required
  • Update key fields in Salesforce
  • Play a crucial role in coordination and support of building a best-in-class sales workflow
  • Conduct buyer persona research to enhance sales and marketing targeted outreach
  • Implement processes and procedures to maintain data quality
  • Research new Accounts across our various markets

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Must be currently enrolled in undergrad or graduate degree program and be Atlanta-based
  • Interested in data and how it powers sales and marketing operations
  • Research-oriented mindset
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of excel
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM (beneficial, but not required)
  • Experience working within a Sales organization (beneficial, but not required)
