Business Development Representative

Job Description
We’re currently seeking Business Development Representatives (BDR) to generate sales qualified leads and support our growing Sales organization. We’re looking for high energy, self-motivated candidates with excellent interpersonal and phone skills that have a strong desire to jumpstart their career by joining an exceptional team. Our BDRs follow up on and qualify market generated inbound leads and create new leads via cold calls, email campaigns, referral sales, etc. The BDR team calls into multiple markets: (1) Energy Management, Facilities Management, and Finance within large corporations (2) Energy Services and Energy Software companies (3) Financial Services organizations. We require creativity and collaboration between departments and are looking for people who want to be part of building something special. These are entry-level positions based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to make cold calls 
  • Proficiency with G-Suite and Mac
  • Strong business acumen and ability to articulate a value proposition
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Scheduling qualified sales calls for sales reps
  • Researching companies, identify key decision makers, and develop sales leads
  • Strategic outreach (cold & warm) to businesses and organizations (25 emails & 20 calls per day)
  • Qualifying Marketing-generated leads
  • Update prospect activity in Salesforce.com
