HR/Recruiting Intern

We’re seeking motivated, high-energy, hands-on interns to join our HR team.You will assist the HR Generalist with a wide range of projects related to HR recruiting, onboarding/orientation, and administrative duties. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. You will develop useful skills in a professional setting and gain a better understanding of how a support role fits into the tech, big data, and energy industry. This internship is best for those interested in a career in human resources, recruiting, technology, customer service, or other support role. The candidate will also have the opportunity to network and collaborate with other departments (sales, marketing, operations, and engineering).

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Pursuing BA or BS degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
  • Adapt to fast paced work environments and priorities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments
  • Desire to work with a small team

Roles and Responsibilities 
  • Schedule and conduct phone screens
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Support other recruiting needs as required
  • Assist with new hire paperwork
  • Assist with digitizing paperwork as required
  • Assist with employee tracking (PTO, parking, address updates, etc.)
  • Utilize Google Apps for team sharing (Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive) 
  • Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, etc. 
  • Assist with creating and updating the company calendar
  • Assist with implementing background checks
  • Assist with Google Hire system (updating job posts, organizing resumes, contacting candidates)
  • Administrative duties (up to 50% of the job)
