Today we're looking for a Head of Business Development to join our Leadership and help us revolutionize healthcare, minimize medical error and thus improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Work with the founding team to define business and marketing strategy to support the UpHill’s objectives.
- Be accountable for the overall business model supporting the commercial success of UpHill’s solutions.
- Build optimum pricing and tiering strategies to be utilised across all markets and segments.
- Define, iterate and replicate UpHill’s sales funnel.
- Build upsell, cross-sell or migration paths and plans to be utilised in all segments and markets.
- Create sales and partner enablement strategies to meet commercial revenue targets.
- Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the UpHill’s unique vision.
- Design and coordinate targeted promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels.
- Build and lead a team of highly efficient marketing professionals.
- Owning the budget and forecasting process.
- Create a solid network of strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to UpHill’s “lead by example” motto.
Requirements
- MSc/MA in business administration, economics or marketing.
- Proven experience in marketing operations, business development or similar roles.
- >3 year experience working in, or closely with, the healthcare sector.
- Data-driven mindset. Ability to propose and test hypothesis, in an iterative approach.
- Experienced in the area of commercial ownership and/or general management.
- Must have a strong focus on value generation.
- Must have a strong customer presence and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of the technology market, the business management needs and challenges faced by customers, competitors in the space.
- Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects.
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in English language, verbal and written.
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of SaaS technologies and economics.
- Working experience in software company or software projects.
- Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.)
- A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
