Comfort Inn & Suites – Nellis is now hiring a Director of Sales! We are an 81-room limited-service franchise hotel. We are looking for an outgoing and energetic individual with proven sales experience in hotels to join our team. Prior sales experience in the hospitality industry is required!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be able familiar with and capable of analyzing a STAR Report
- Establish and implement online promotions to attract potential guests and businesses.
- Must devise and direct client-appreciation activities to target current clients.
- Implement a marketing plan and assess the hotels performance, provide a competitive analysis, comprehensive self-assessment of the property, and a forecast of future marketing conditions.
- Responsible for coordinating promotions, sales, and marketing strategies with the Operations Manager
- Implement sales plans to increase occupancy, ADR, volume, and overall market performance
- Develop a marketing strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel/market trends and creating selling strategies to capture the maximum amount of revenue and meet/exceed sales goals.
- Networking with group clients and local business to attract bookings
- Establish sales goals and objective
Hotel management and sales experience is REQUIRED
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a hotel position
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel sales and marketing related position
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management position
- Must speak fluent English. Other languages are a bonus
- Knowledge of hotel operations and budgeting
- Strong Leadership qualities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
