Director of Sales Engineering

Responsibilities: 
  • Direct the Sales Engineering efforts, leading technical resources to assist the Sales team in winning new customers and maximizing revenue
  • Participate in sales calls and prospect meetings, providing product demonstrations in person and via Zoom/Google Hangouts, and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how UnifyID solutions create value through user experience and enhanced security
  • Partner closely with Sales to ensure customer happiness
  • Build, grow, and manage a team of Sales Engineers
  • Participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences, when needed
  • Ensure successful on-site product evaluations and post-sale installations when necessary
  • Participate in issue triage and prioritization efforts with sales, customer success, product and engineering
  • Periodically respond to high-priority issues outside business hours
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a high-growth environment with attention to detail and a positive attitude


Qualifications: 
  • Possess a solid understanding of web applications, mobile, and security environments
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role
  • Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written, oral communication and strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
  • Creative problem solving skills, you won't be using a playbook you'll be helping write one
  • Ability to travel throughout the US region frequently
  • Applicants must pass a technical evaluation
