2018 Spring Co-op/Internship - Software Engineer

About Uhana

Uhana is an exciting new startup founded to commercialize groundbreaking Stanford research on software defined mobile networks. We are harnessing the power of SDN, machine learning, and predictive analytics to manage and optimize mobile networks. We are based in Palo Alto, CA and are well funded by top-tier VCs. You will get to work with Stanford graduates and seasoned ex-Google, Qualcomm, Vmware professionals. 

Basic Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline with a focus on software development
  • Currently enrolled in university and plan to return for additional school terms prior to graduating
  • Must be enrolled at a university that has a formal co-op or off-cycle internship program (would not interfere or delay your academic schedule)
  • Able to work full-time (40 hrs/week) for minimum of 12 weeks or more from Jan/Feb 2018

Skills:

  • Experience and knowledge in backend, database and distributed systems frameworks
  • Experience and knowledge of developing in Scala and/or Java
  • Experience and knowledge with SQL and NoSQL database (Cassandra, Redis, Postgres, etc)
  • Experience and knowledge with one of the scripting languages (Python, shell, Ruby)
