Job Description
You’ll be joining Twinkl’s growing Content Editor team to help ensure that the content of our resources is accurate and well written, helping us to deliver high-quality materials to children all over the world.
You’ll be a go-to specialist for primary National Curriculum content, using your up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum and supporting documentation to ensure that our resources are suitable for the target year group, and that the materials provide the correct levels of challenge and support. Because we work in an Agile way, you may have the opportunity to work across several different product teams, so we are looking for someone who would be an all-around editor who has primary teaching experience. We can offer some remote working once passed probation, the probation period is the first 6 months of employment and remote working requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis by HR and your line manager.
You’ll be a fantastic communicator, working collaboratively in agile development teams which include Content Writers, Graphic Designers and Illustrators.
Core Skills:
- The ability to consistently check a broad range of resources for spelling, punctuation, grammar, curriculum relevance and factual accuracy
- Working knowledge of the 2014 national curriculum (England)
- Confidence at using and explaining the English language and grammar
- Excellent communication skills for sensitively delivering feedback
- A drive for continuous personal development
- Confidence in demonstrating a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
- The ability to operate fluently between a range of different IT platforms
- A keenness to promote positivity and problem-solving in the working environment
Beneficial but not essential:
- Experience of leading a curriculum area, key stage or phase
- Experience of teaching and delivering SATs tests in either key stage
- Experience of designing and creating your own resources for the classroom
- Experience in SEN / Phonics / EYFS / KS1 / KS2

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified teacher status
- At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience with full class responsibility
