Social Media Analyst

Overview
Entry-level Analysts at Turbine Labs work in a team environment to produce immediately actionable topic and campaign briefings and reports for our brand and agency customers. Our software platform (SaaS) aggregates consumer, media, influencer, and virality data from multiple sources to determine the true impact of an event or campaign.

While our software gets us most of the way to delivering our product, we rely on great people to research and curate content in order to define the narrative of a topic to make our reports and insights immediately actionable. Reports that you produce is read and relied upon by top executives in some of the largest tech, telecom, and media companies in the world.

Job Tasks
  • Research of brand, market, and competitive topics utilizing Curated Multicast Content Routing software platform
  • Management of databases: accuracy, validity, and cleansing of data
  • Perform extensive analyses and processing of data using our patent-pending Turbine software
  • Data collection and curation of brand, consumer, and media mentions that most accurately define the topic narrative
  • Edit, deliver, and present research with a variety of cadences
  • Write, edit and monitor original data queries
  • Development of insights to ensure actionability of finalized product deliverables
  • Monitor and train sentiment scoring AI model, as well as human sentiment scoring

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or Marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment with limited supervision
  • Naturally curious, able to speak and write about various topics and interests
  • Ability to research complicated subjects using a variety of sources (e.g software and databases)
  • Knowledge and experience with market research and/or behavioral research
  • Microsoft knowledge (Office, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote)

Schedule
  • Multiple schedules available: Social & Media conversations don't stop on the weekend – weekend coverage is required for all schedules
