Job Description
- The Project Coordinator supports the Lead Project Coordinator by maintaining document control, database management and coordinating and tracking project activities and communications to ensure project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.
- This person will be responsible for all documenting and tracking of project deliverables by interfacing with project staff to ensure timely data entry for real time status reporting.
- Work closely with Lead Project Coordinator and Construction Manager to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
- Status Reporting - as directed and prepares status reports for management, client, project personnel or others and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a filing system that documents all project activity from which data can be pulled for project closeout files.
- Other duties may be assigned on as needed basis.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 1-2 years in a highly aggressive technical field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project Management/Coordination experience or demonstrated interest very much preferred
- Comfortable in self-directed environment
- Previous telecom industry experience desired
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as client specifications and requirements, procedure manuals, and reports
- Communicates with Construction Managers to ensure they are equipped and have the knowledge base necessary
- Formulating customer deliverables ensuring quality and compliance objectives are met per, site per tech
- Ability to maintain confidentiality essential
Preferred prior telecom/wireless industry experience as Project Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects and consistent value creation for our customers
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope to ensure Order entry, Data entry
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Work with resource management on resource planning, availability, and allocation according to projects pipeline and customer needs
- Work with team on project work to keep the project going according to schedule
- Communicate to the management changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Participate in supplier performance reviews
- Close project and documentation, pass project deliverables to operations.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager on day to day operations and typically handles scheduling.
