We are seeking a Telecom Wireless Small Cell Project Manager experienced in the wireless telecommunications industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management of all designated projects including budgets and schedules, coordination of all project deliverables with completion of milestones and working with the cross-functional project team including stakeholders, both internal and external team members and third-party contractors.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Managing assigned projects from inception to completion including
- product/equipment ordering
- permitting regulatory
- construction and close-out are completed on time and within budget
- Develop accurate project plan and budget and prepare project authorizations for all assigned projects
- Monitoring and controlling project/program progress and deliveries and focusing on the needs and priorities of the customer and other important project stakeholders.
- Establishing detailed planning and tracking to enable project stakeholders and sponsors to have clear visibility of project status and financial results.
- Supporting the organizations KPI and business targets including identification of additional business opportunities and driving incremental sales with our customers.
- Coordinating completion of design, zoning and permitting, tower modifications, collocations, site acquisition, land use planning A&E design and OSP/construction management.
- Responsible for the management and coordination of team members in obtaining and maintaining all documents related to vendor engagement, performance monitoring and compliance with the deployment process.
- Manage the work of various groups that support the project who are responsible for pole licensing, permitting, A&E and legal.
- Lead internal and external meetings to review the status of each job and implement changes as necessary.
- Supporting sales and planning phase of the sales process and activities including cost estimation, development of the initial project timeline, writing and negotiating statements of work, resource planning, and risk assessment.
- Monitoring and controlling all project financials
- Responsible for risk management throughout the program.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Three (3) to five (5) years of wireless experience with large customer-facing project management experience
- Experience working with telecommunication and/or IT technology and customers in the DAS / Small Cell / IBS space.
- Experience with deployment of DAS, Small Cell, PICO, MICRO, and WIFI systems
- Experience in leading wireless infrastructure projects including work done in the public right of way
- Management experience of subcontractors and Third Party Partners
- Advanced knowledge of Ability to read and understand blueprints along with civil inside & outside plant construction methods
- Ability to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies to financial issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
