Tower Construction Manager (Wireless Telecom)

TTI is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our team. The Construction Manager is responsible for each site project's construction schedule, expenses, quality, and safety. 

The Construction Manager also manages the resources performing the construction work including staff, and vendor and subcontractor resources. You'll work directly with TTI’s and the customer’s subcontractors to facilitate installation and integration of customer-provided equipment on to the network. 

Construction Manager responsibilities include:
  • Maintain and enforce TTI’s Quality & Safety program, ensure daily job site safety plans are reviewed and followed, and to stop work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist
  • Perform and/or supervise the site walk to determine whether the proposed site may be properly constructed according to quality and technical standards
  • Communicate with customer operations and systems performance personnel before starting any site work, mobilize general contractors, and manage the completion of site work in continuous communication with customer personnel. 
  • Provide post-work summaries immediately upon project completion and procure closeout packages to customer specifications.
  • Responsible for site construction support may include supervising of installation of towers, mounts, antennas, feed lines, electronic cabinets, shelters, etc., generators, HVAC, and fireproofing.
  • Provide full support to crews on site, and train/instruct as needed.

Requirements
  • 5-7 years of Tower industry experience required
  • Current ComTrain or equivalent certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue Certification Required
  • OSHA 10hr certification, 30hr a plus
  • Must have experience with PIM, Anritsu Site Master, OTDR-Fiber Testing, Andrew, PPC, tower mapping and antenna equipment.
  • Must have experience installing/troubleshooting waveguide, sector mounts, RRUs, fibers, coax cables, antennas, and microwave dishes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Demonstrated management experience including scope management, project scheduling, budgeting, and contracting, along with a successful track record in management of similar projects.
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • 5+ years of LTE experience preferred
  • Engineering or technical degree preferred
