Restaurant Sales Executive

  • We’re looking for a Restaurant Sales Executive to join our growing Sales team and help lead the effort in turning qualified leads into valued customers. At Habitat, we’re only as good as the players on our team. We’re looking for someone who has an insatiable appetite and sees every no as one step closer to a yes. The bulk of this job will consist of taking appointments with restaurants - if you think you have the chops / chutzpah to sell anyone, we’d love to meet you. 

    As one of our key growth hires, you’ll be joining a company that is about to breakout. We are live in 2 markets and gearing up to expand to 2+ additional markets by the end of the year. You’ll have a significant impact on driving the company’s growth. You’ll report directly to Alex Winokur, our VP of Sales. 


    What you’ll do
    • Articulate the Habitat Value Proposition to restaurant owners/managers
    • Communicate with restaurant prospects that have diverse backgrounds
    • Listen carefully to identify hot spots 
    • Measure and report on your results on a weekly basis. 
    • Help build and manage restaurant-client relationships

    About you
    • You’re a self-starter 
    • You are adaptable and can think on your feet. 
    • You value relationships, and your relationships value you 
    • You don’t take no for an answer (when it comes to restaurants ;))
    • You like to over-communicate, bring up ideas, and ask questions 

    Requirements 
    • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
    • Bachelor's Degree 
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT), Google Suite (Sheets, Docs)
    • Experience with Hubspot preferred, Cloud-based CRM required

    Nice to haves
    • Bilingual?  That’s a plus for us! 
    • Knowledge of the food delivery industry
    • Experience in a high-growth or early-stage start-up
