US Director of Sales, Client Acquisition
Position Overview:
TrustArc is seeking an experienced Sales leader to manage the rapid growth of a Client Acquisition Sales Team. You will lead, and build a team of 5 to 7 Account Executives with support from Pre-Sales Engineers and the Sales Development Team (SDRs). You will be responsible for uncovering new opportunities, and driving new business across our full solution suite including SaaS based technology and professional services offerings. Your ability to thrive in a fast paced, results-driven, start-up culture will put you on a track for success. The position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales based in our headquarters in San Francisco.
The ideal candidate is someone driven to win in a highly competitive, and growing market with a passion for leading a team. Driven by the global market opportunity spurred by the introduction of the GDPR in May 2018. In order to accomplish that the Manager must maximize the revenue potential of the current team, streamline, improve current sales processes, and hire the right candidates to grow the business. This role will be a part of the Sales Management Team working closely with the other Sales Directors, Business Operations, Marketing and Customer Services to ensure the success of this Client Acquisition Sales Team.
General Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 5-7 closing Corporate Account Executives
- Coaching reps on sales strategies, techniques, and best practices
- Forecasting accurately to senior management
- Working to grow the team’s pipeline and increase close rates
- Recruiting and training of new Corporate Account Executives
- Meet with customers and prospects to understand their privacy needs and how TrustArc can assist them achieve those goals
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years sales experience generating net new business for a technology company
Minimum 2 years of front line sales management - Experience with Salesforce reporting
- Track record of leading a successful team
- Experience hiring and working in a rapidly changing environment
- Cybersecurity and/or privacy experience is a plus
