Enterprise Sales Engineer

TrustArc is seeking a highly motivated, SaaS Solutions (SME) for a Sr. Sales Engineer position.  In this role you will help support the Enterprise Sales team in driving revenue & adoption across our comprehensive suite of software applications. 

Leverage your technical expertise, competitive positioning knowledge, and understanding of our prospects’ & customers’ existing IT infrastructure to ensure optimal understanding of potential use cases and implementation.  Prospect/Customer demos will be a large component of this role, so your exceptional presentation and communication skills are critical to your success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in growing revenue with SaaS applications to Enterprise companies and possess a general understanding of the Privacy or Security industry. Having experience selling into multiple buyer roles & functions including the CISO, CIO and CTO will help drive your success.  You will thrive in this position if you are a “go-getter,” and do not shy away from challenges or complex deals.

Responsibilities
  • You will serve as a product expert to the sales team and technical lead on major sales opportunities
  • You will be instrumental in full sales cycle including technical discovery, opportunity evaluation, use case development, proof of concept support, and opportunity closure
  • You will support Sales Teams with client meetings and presentations online and in-person
  • You will work with prospects to devise solutions meeting complex customer requirements
  • You will provide customer feedback and input into the product development cycle
  • You will conduct custom Proof of Concept evaluations to implement software and demonstrate the ability to meet client objectives
  • You will support Sales in the completion of complex RFIs, RFPs and Security Assessments

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent technical field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the technology industry, ideally in an Enterprise Cloud-based Software company
  • Experience selling, configuring and delivering software demonstrations
  • Experience with implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies
  • Experience working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and API integrations
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision making capabilities
  • Ability to build relationships across internal stakeholders in marketing, sales and engineering
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment
  • Willingness to travel, as job requires (Estimated 10-20%). This is an on-site role in our San Francisco headquarters office.
