Position Overview:

Provide technical assistance to users utilizing Trimble MEP’s EC-Cad/SysQue applications. Trimble provides Revit, CAD, estimating, layout, and other software solutions for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing industries. Applicants should be able to answer questions or resolve product issues for clients via telephone, e-mail, and web-based support. Applicants must have the desire to keep up with changes in software and technology. Applicants must be able to manage a heavy workload and multi-task and use analytical skills in troubleshooting and be able to clearly communicate findings to customers in both verbal and written form. This position requires a great deal of interaction with internal personnel (developers, quality assurance, and sales) and ability to also work well independently.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Revit® and/or AutoCAD® experience preferred
  • Construction industry experience specific to Piping or HVAC installation/estimation preferred
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills a must
  • Analytical and intuitive (capable of following logic and then making the intuitive leap to a solution or root cause)
  • Ability to think in terms of abstract ideas
  • Strong communication skills; written and oral
  • Strong ability with general computer systems troubleshooting
  • Customer oriented with strong desire to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures
  • High interpersonal/social skills
  • Capable, preferably thrives in high pressure/time critical environments
  • Capable of working autonomously or with little guidance
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
  • College degree or comparable work experience required
