Manager, Product Marketing

Job Summary 

This leadership position in Product Marketing in the Trimble MEP division is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced organization rapidly transitioning to cloud and transforming its go-to-market strategy.  The successful candidate will have worked in software-based businesses with proven results in product strategy and marketing and be instrumental in moving the division’s business model to subscription.

  • Lead product launch efforts for new products and major releases, enabling the sales team to position the product with the right segment of customer
  • Take a lead role in bundling and simplification of the product portfolio
  • Develop and execute on the strategy to drive user migrations to subscription in support of ARR goals
  • Distill products, releases, and features into unique selling points/key value propositions
  • Participate in various financial modeling efforts including annual and long-range planning
  • Build a data-driven approach to marketing, leveraging key internal systems like Salesforce and Oracle to inform models and decisions
  • Drive initiative to implement NPS scoring for all major product lines
  • Segment and size the mechanical and electrical markets in the division’s target market(s) for purposes of identifying penetration opportunities and generating the right lead activity in Marcom
  • Develop and maintain buyer personas to assist in developing messaging and communications
  • Lead all aspects of product pricing, from setting new product prices to developing and implementing a cadence of price increases where necessary
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and leaders in other teams, primarily focused on Sales, Marcom, and Product Management
  • Contribute to monthly business review metrics and discussions 
  • Ensure Trimble MEP is represented at the right trade shows, conventions, and conferences (working closely with Marcom/Events team)

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and/or product management
