Regional Sales Manager - Precision Tools

Seeking Regional Sales Manager in South East US (can be located in Georgia or Florida)

For the Precision Tools Business Area, The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the South East United States geographical territory. The Precision Tools Sales Manager is expected to grow this business through many channels. This will be done through an aggressive sales & marketing approach in multiple channels in coordination with the US product technical team and sales team.

This position is to provide a very strategic and specific sales focus on the Precision Tools product portfolio. Responsibility is to develop the existing distribution partners ability to grow and to add and develop new distribution partners as appropriate, increase the overall sales and improve market share through the development of existing accounts, identification of new accounts and ensuring all distribution channels achieve their sales targets and overall objectives.

This Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership, direction, hands-on coaching and specific guidance to the distribution network through a pro-active approach. Distribution account management is crucial to the success of the Precision Tools growing market share. This position will provide regional sales and developmental support of all sales partners following the guidelines of the division strategy. The function will be based out of the South East US and expected to travel up to 70%.

Key Responsibilities:

*Achievement of revenue, sales expense targets
*Build and continuously update a strategic distribution plan for his region
*Manage and develop the dealer network across several channels in the region
*Provide support to dealers through product training, customer visits, demos, sales programs to ensure they achieve or exceed their revenue targets
*Coordinate Sales & Marketing programs in his/her region

Measures of Success:
*Achievement of revenue target every quarter
*Ability to understand applications and train dealers on all CTO products
*Sales of specific product lines in specific channels

Skills & Experience Required:
*BS degree in a technical and or civil engineering, or business-related field.
*Proven track record in a Sales / Managerial position in allied business
*Work experience inside a team
*At least 10 years in Sales managing several Distribution channels, preferably in *Construction equipment, or material possibly through STAFDA
*Dealer/distribution management experience in multiple channels
*Demonstrate the process of Sales Management:
*Forecasting
*Budget control
*Profit evaluation/analysis
*Sales presentations/proposals
*Negotiation skills

Other Requirements:
*Experience in laser distribution
*Experience in Builders merchants/Retail distribution management
*Construction experience or knowledge of key principles
