Position Overview:

The Architecture and Design Division of Trimble is seeking a customer-centric individual to join our Customer Success Team. As a Customer Success Manager, the primary responsibility is to drive customer engagement, adoption, retention, and to enable overall customer success. The successful candidate must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and must be able to identify technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the pre and post sales process.

The ideal candidate is passionate about design with experience with professional 3D design tools and AEC design technologies. The candidate should be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding diversified customer base. The candidate must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails. The individual should be organized and analytical and able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.  

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships with the goal of customer retention, ensuring renewals, and product expansion. 
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to establish trusted advisor relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our solutions and educate customers on the most relevant solutions for their specific business needs.
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations to existing customers as well as to prospective customers in events such as conferences, seminars, and online sessions.
  • Respond to customer product questions and develop and recommend best practices.
  • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with SketchUp modeling software and workflows within AEC and other design fields.
  • Ability to learn new products quickly. 
  • Bachelors in Architecture, Engineering, or Business, or equivalent AEC experience preferred. 
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service or in a customer success position is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to learn new products quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen to customer issues and master an understanding of customer workflows.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
