SUMMARY

Trigger is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be part of our growing sales team. In this role, you will drive revenue growth for the agency through email and phone outreach in order to promote Trigger’s capabilities and set up meetings for our Account Managers. We’re looking for someone to run and manage our lead generation efforts and our ideal candidate has experience prospecting new accounts through outbound and inbound marketing leads. This person will join Trigger’s established Business Development team of Account and Sales-focused staff to drive growth within targeted industries while also opening doors to new opportunities within different verticals. This role is part of our Client Solutions department and reports to our Associate Director of Client Solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reach out to potential business partners and clients
  • Perform research across target verticals to identify prospective clients  
  • Run weekly and monthly email campaigns to generate new sales prospects
  • Hit or exceed monthly/quarterly qualified lead goals
  • Set up calls with prospects and organize meetings with Account Managers
  • Ask probing questions to properly qualify leads
  • Track and assess outreach tactics, pivoting when necessary to achieve results
  • Find the right way to get through obstacles to achieve success
  • Manage and update capabilities deck of services
  • Leverage Trigger’s social media channels to promote our services and publicize new project launches  
  • Contribute to company-wide brainstorms
  • Assist Account Managers with proposals and other departmental tasks  

REQUIREMENTS

  • B2B sales experience in lead generation
  • Experience using and tracking efforts via a CRM system like Salesforce 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong hunting and prospecting mentality
  • Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value in our services 
  • High need for achievement and unfazed by rejection
  • Tenacious work ethic with a desire to be a top performer
  • Motivated self-starter with strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Coachable and listens to and implements advice from Account Managers
  • Comfortable dealing with data and understanding reports
  • Interest in and strong understanding of AR/MR/VR are preferred
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries is a plus: Sports, CPG, Toys, Auto, Travel & Tourism, Fashion
