We are looking for a Data Scientists/Analysts/Engineer with a strong background in Statistics, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Signal Processing, Computer Science, etc. to join the core product team at Tribe. In this role, you will be responsible for deriving insights and building models used to optimize our users’ experiences and business insights.

  • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
  • Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
  • Implement and optimize real-time algorithms
  • Individualize algorithms to fit each single user
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

  • Ph.D. or MSc degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or other quantitative disciplines
  • At least 3 years of working experience in data analysis
  • Knowledge of Python / R, and SQL; familiarity with C and C++ is an asset
  • Experience with automated testing (unit-tests, etc.)
  • Strong math skills (e.g., statistics, algebra)
  • Excellent understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and Time & Frequency based Signal Processing methods
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Fluent in English

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Cloud Solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with high-performance Python
  • Experience building highly scalable solutions in real time analysis for large data sets
  • Strong Experience in Data Visualization
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop)
