Data Operations Associate

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic, bright mind to help us change the landscape of brand marketing. The ideal match must have an innate ability to find a story in data, a passion for the beauty and lifestyle space, and the desire to have a huge impact.

As a part of the Data Operations team, you will be responsible for the integrity of our internal market research data and the communication and delivery of high-level learnings to the larger team. We have listed some responsibilities and experience guidelines below, but do not consider these as set in stone - talent and passion are the most important.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand Tribe’s brand and influencer databases to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage data quality, data integrity, and timeliness of data delivery
- Become the expert in our internal software tool, using it skillfully and efficiently to provide data for internal research, client reporting, and external marketing publications
- Collaborate with our Product and Client teams to improve Tribe’s influencer databases, specifically by developing and implementing scalable internal categorization and tagging
- Assist senior Data Ops members in delivering data and addressing client data needs
- Assist in resolving client data concerns and providing updated or additional data to clients/Account Managers as necessary or requested
- Assist in market and category expansion, tracking new and trending brands as well as brand mergers and acquisitions.
- Work fluidly across multiple cross-functional teams - including data science, client services, and publications - on a daily basis. 

Qualifications
 
- You live in Excel and Google Sheets. Pivot tables and complex functions don’t scare you.
- You understand the major players in the beauty and lifestyle marketplace, and can identify up-and-coming brands and trending products.
- You communicate clearly in person, write concise emails, and deliver easy-to-understand spreadsheets. You’re able to identify trends in data and translate those trends into a story for both the internal team and our clients. 
- You are thoughtful and creative about making sure clients have what they need to succeed. You’re constantly improving the way we use and present our data. 
- You have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy. 
- You possess strong time management skills and an ability to handle multiple priorities and projects across teams. 
- Recent college grads encouraged to apply

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required 

Nice to haves:
- Proficient in SQL
