Recruiting / HR Specialist
Trexquant is an investment company managing a systematic hedge fund since 2014, where we use tens of thousands of statistical algorithms to produce winning trades in global equity markets. We develop and use machine learning methods to effectively combine signals which were created to predict short term price dynamics of company stocks that we trade.
We seek a Recruiting / HR Specialist to drive our recruiting efforts to staff up the company with top technical, research and corporate talent to meet its growth needs.
Responsibilities may include:
- Seeking out talent to meet the needs of the company
- Development of a strategy to source top talent in a competitive environment
- On-campus recruiting
- Liaison with recruiters, talent consultants and other players in the field
- Coordination of the recruiting process from identification of candidates to arranging interviews among Trexquant team members and candidates to extending offers and onboarding successful candidates
- Traditional HR management activities supporting employee programs, payroll and benefits
Desired qualifications include:
- Undergraduate degree ideally in a quantitative field
- 2+ years in a recruiting role ideally sourcing financial or technology talent
- Self-starter able to work in an unstructured environment with shifting priorities
